“Wow, you are quite the entrepreneur.” He said to me.

Smiled with a little chuckle and said, “Yeah, I guess I am.”

This reporter had just arrived at my property to take a photo of me for winning best yoga instructor in Columbia Falls.

On the phone, he had asked to come to my yoga studio to take the photo. I explained I didn't have a studio and that I work from home.

When he got there, he looked around admiring the view, as I explained to him that actually I work from home as a mindset and life coach, working online with women from around the world.

I pointed out the shop where Nate was working and told him about our fabrication business designing and creating custom metal work, along with beautiful, custom metal and wood furniture.

Then pointed out a 2nd garage on the property we are currently renovating into a vacation rental for a 3rd business.

Wrapped up the property/business tour explaining that I teach yoga locally at Yoga Hive and have plans to teach in person, outdoor classes once it gets warmer outside.

As he stood there, looking around and processing all I had just quickly shared, he said, “Wow, you are quite the entrepreneur.”

“Yeah, I guess I am.”

At this point, entrepreneurship and running businesses all feels normal and natural to me. But this isn't how it started.

It started with one thing at a time, and it actually started with massage.

Opening and running a private massage practice by myself was the best training I could have had for jumping into this multi business, entrepreneurial lifestyle.

Being a massage therapist, and owning a private practice, really showed me what I wanted and what I didn't want in a business.

I wanted to feel comfortable setting boundaries with clients, instead of working until nine at night, giving massages.

I wanted to feel confident charging high enough prices to instead of burning out from overworking just to scrape by.

I wanted to create an impact in people's lives and help them be the change that they wanted in their lives. After watching so many massage clients just come in and say “fix me” once a month, once a year and not do anything in between to take care of themselves, I wanted to help people who wanted to help themselves.

That's why I love working with entrepreneurs because they are go-getters, they are the ones who are there to help themselves get better, grow and expand.

Wanted balance in my life.

With a variety of things because variety feels fun!

I like the diversity of creativity, design and hands-on physical fabrication in Creative Combinations Montana, our fabrication business.

I love the mindset work, subconscious expansion and reprogramming, mind body connection and the impact that I get to create in Elevate You, my coaching business.

I love empowering women to believe in themselves and to believe in themselves enough to take charge of their life and truly go after and live a life that they're passionate about that they love, a life of abundance, impact, joy and fulfillment without sitting stuck and sabotaging themselves, over and over and over and over again.

So grateful I get to expand and practice all of my passions in a beautiful place. I'm grateful to call home with the love of my life, amazing people around me and my community and our sweet dogs at our feet and our sanctuary that we get to work and live from.
